News from the world health organization recommends that people should get less than five percent of their daily total of calories from sugar.   That is half of what was recommended in 2002 (which was 10%).    An average can of soda contains up to 40 grams of sugar.  Many foods like ketchup contain hidden sugars.  Ketchup has 4 grams of sugar per serving.

Concern for the greater health is growing.  Some governments are considering banning the sale of sugar laden drinks.

In an article about how sugar was hurting her health, a writer explains how she completely gives up sugar and anything that might convert into sugar in her system.

Madrat Elixr was designed to address these types of concerns.   Elixr has zero grams of sugar and scores a zero on weight watchers calorie scale.
