Elixr Recipes

Elixr on its own merit is one of the best tasting energy drinks / supplements available.  Healthy, natural energy drinks , are  the minority in the beverage world and they dont get much better than this.

A  typical recipe / setup includes anywhere from 4 to 20 ounces of water.  16 Ounces is a very good balance of flavor.  Here are a few recipes we’ve come up with to shake things up a bit.

Elixr Twistr (favorite)

Items Needed:

  • Elixr Energy Drink Powder
  • Water (distilled, filtered,  or highest quality available)
  • 16 Ounce or larger sealable container
  • 1 Lemon
  • Lemon Press ( Optional )
  • Ascorbic Acid (vitamin C powder – Optional)

This one is simple and its a favorite that we serve most often to friends.   Mix 16 ounces of distilled or filtered water with one scoop of Elixr powdered Energy Drink mix into container.   Seal – and shake vigorously.        Afterward  take half  (or whole) lemon and squeeze it with a lemon press, ( we use  Chef'n FreshForce Lime Juicer )  into the mixture rendering one 16 ounce serving.

To take it one step further – or if available add 1/4 teaspoon of  ascorbic acid  (vitamin C powder) – shake well.    We use:   NOW Foods Vitamin C Crystals, Ascorbic Acid, 1 Pound

Elixr Vodka Mixr

Elixr Swing was born on the golf course. While serving Elixr at the helping heroes golf tournament. Many of the golfers requested a spiked version. We found many of them with regular and flavored vodkas spiking their Elixr. It was a hit. Most were exited that our healthy energy drink went well with their preferred alcoholic beverage. We were too. We tried one shot of Vodka with a concentrated 8 ounce formula (8 ounce water to one scoop Elixr). This seemed to be a nice mixture on ice. AND ALWAYS – DRINK RESPONSIBLY. Cheers!!
